A Few Good Grocery Deals 3/17-3/24

**UPDATE: in the North Texas area Albertson’s policy is to triple coupons up to 39¢ (corrected thanks to Forthworthonthecheap!)and double coupons up 50¢, up to 3 like coupons per transaction. Kroger will now only double/triple 1 like coupon per transaction - I don't know if this varies by location or the coupon nazi cashiers but I found out the hard way last week so I'm just passing this information on. It has been confirmed that Kroger will still double/triple up to 3 coupons - however, it depends on how the cashier interprets the coupon policy.

Which Kroger are you going to? I went to the one on North Tarrant and Rufe Snow last night and didn't have any trouble.

Yeah, I've gotten some super good deals at Kroger this last week and I went to the one on 1709 and Rufe Snow. They have let me do 3 like coupons. And a couple of times I forgot to separate items into separate transactions and they still gave me money back at Customer Service.

That was actually Susan. I didn't know my husband was logged in.

Huh...my Albertson's triples up to 39 cents.

See...it totally varies by location. The cashier at Rufe Snow & N. Tarrant Kroger even pointed out a sign that is posted at the registers. I'll be going to a different Kroger from now on.

Actually, I have seen the sign at the customer service desk that says they will only do one coupon. But, when I have talked to them they say that it is 3 and that is how it has worked on my transactions.

yeah, that's how it usually works for me too. I think I'll break them up into separate transactions in the future just to make their lives more difficult...hehe!

Oh, and one more thing - I noticed the Green Giant coupon says "do not double or triple." Have you found that your Albertsons doubles it anyway? Never tried this.

in my own experiences the coupons have doubled anyway. The registers don't seem to differeniate - it would be up the cashier to over-ride or accept. I'll let you know what happens when I redeem that coupon.
