If you are new to couponing....this is how you do it if you are just starting out and you have no coupons:


First things first, you must have an ExtraCare Card - it's free so just sign up for it in the store and they'll give you a card. (You can register it online and get coupons emailed to you later.)

Have the cashier scan your card then

buy just the Aspirin - pay $2.00 + tax out of pocket,
you'll get a coupon at the end of your receipt for $2.00 ExtraCare Bucks (ECBs) to use on your next purchase - tear it off....

then do another transaction to purchase the Shave Gel - it's $2.89 - you'll use the $2.00 ECB you got from the 1st transaction which will make your out of pocket on this transaction $.89 + tax - and you'll get back another ECB coupon for $2.89.

It's best to keep 'em rolling to always spend less out of pocket.
